Wheelchair Accessibility
We have wheelchair-accessible toilets, but unfortunately, we do not currently have baby-changing facilities.
The entrance to the bookshop is 90cm wide, while the entrance to the bar is 100cm wide. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible, with no steps or slopes.
Air Conditioning
Our Shoreditch site is fully air-conditioned and is typically set to 18°C. Temperatures may vary depending on guest numbers.
During the day, we typically keep the front door open to allow for increased airflow. On particularly hot or cold days, the door may be closed to help maintain a comfortable temperature.
There are two large windows at the front of our Shoreditch site, providing plenty of natural light throughout the space. We do not currently have blinds on these windows, although there are shadier areas towards the back of the shop. The windows are typically kept closed.
Dog-Friendly
We are a dog-friendly business, and service animals of all kinds are welcome across our venues.

Dalston Accessibility Info
Wheelchair Accessibility
The entrance to our Dalston site is 117cm wide. The front doors are kept open during trading hours.
The ground floor is wheelchair accessible, although there is a small 1–2cm lip in the tile in front of the bar.
We do not currently have a stairlift to our lower ground floor. There are 12 steps between the ground floor and basement, with an additional step through the fire door at the bottom. The doorway to the fire escape steps is 74cm wide.
We are actively working on installing an accessible bathroom at our Dalston branch. Until this is ready for use, the nearest accessible toilet is at the Ridley Road toilets, located next to Dalston Kingsland Station. THere are also wheelchair accessible toilets in nearby LGBTQ+ venue The Divine. We sincerely apologise for this and hope to have an update on the installation as soon as possible.
Air Conditioning
Both floors of our Dalston site are air-conditioned with additonal extractor fans. When necessary, we supplement the air conditioning with additional fans to help maintain a comfortable temperature.
The front of the Dalston site has a very large window, with two additional large windows along the side of the building. We have curtains for the windows along the side of the building.
